The brief

Sole VFX artist across the tornado sequence. 19 volumetric shots in a two-week window. Maintain creative coherence with a compositor working from the opposite side of the world.

Approach

End-to-end across tornado, environment, debris, and full 3D shots. Houdini POP and Pyro driving the tornado volumetrics. Debris simulation tied into the storm. Modelling and texturing for the surrounding environment. Karma render, comp handoff to Anu Raj on Nuke.

Outcome

19 fully composited shots delivered on the deadline, integrated cleanly into the final cut. Credit alongside a roster of senior VFX artists on a marquee music-video release.
